We recently released our Fall '15 “Fishers Of Men” collection and we received a few emails asking where the idea came from and what the collection means so we decided to write a post about it.
As some of you may know, the term “Fishers Of Men” is taken from the book of Matthew, when Jesus calls his first disciples. Once we decided we wanted to use “Fishers Of Men” as the core idea behind our collection, we thought it would be cool to incorporate actual fishing elements in the designs and therefore, the collection turned out the way it did. We hope you enjoy the collection as much as we do!
Matthew 4:18-20
Now as Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon who was called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen and He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.
